Wilted Lettuce, German Style

1 hard-cooked egg, minced
3 strips bacon, fried crisp, drain on paper towel & dice
1/3 c. minced onion

3 Tbsp. sugar put in bacon fat
1/4 c. vinegar

Pour bacon fat, sugar and vinegar  over lettuce which has bee broken up, bite- size. Sprinkle with bacon, egg and onion. Toss and serve.
