"Tipsy" Barbecued Chicken Betty Poulin 10 - 12 pieces chicken thighs 1 stick margarine 2 Tbsp. brown sugar 1/4 c. bourbon 1/4 c. soy sauce 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 tsp. powdered ginger Marinate chicken at least 2 hours in sauce made by combining all the remaining ingredients and cooking them to the boiling point. Spoon marinade out of pan and brush over chicken as it barbecues ... 40 minutes or so. Chicken looks "fowl" until it is cooked. Great with potato salad or a hot rice dish.
