Irish Bread Natalie N. Johnson •2 c. sifted flour •4 tsp. baking powder •1 tsp. salt •3 T. shortening •1 T. sugar •1/2 c. seedless raisins •1/2 c. currants •1 T. caraway seeds •3/4 c. milk Mix and sift dry ingredients. Cut in shortening thoroughly. Add raisins, currants and caraway seeds, then, mix with milk to make a soft dough. Spread in round greased pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. Cut into pie shaped wedges.
